LMS will build a new Perm Art Gallery
On the eve of the project - Government agency «Perm Krai Capital Construction Office» and the General Contractor - LMS Group of Companies signed a contract for the execution of works on the development of the project estimation documentation of the stage «Working Documentation» «Building of Perm State Art Gallery». The project will be realized in 26 months. The company «LMS» was recognized as the winner of the open competition.
The building of the art gallery will be located on Sovietskaya street, 1 - on the territory of the Shpagin factory.
The building of the Perm Art Gallery is an architectural complex that organically unites the preserved building with the help of the newly built part of the gallery. It will compositionally link existing hulls with stylized volumes with rolling roofs, as it is designed to identify and highlight the characteristic features of historical buildings.
On the five floors of the gallery there will be exhibition halls with access to the common atrium space, administrative part, bookshop, as well as entrance groups with halls, cafes, event area, loading area of the museum and restaurant, library and audio-visual foundations, educational center, Storage of exhibits, restoration, workshops, delivery facilities.
The area of the plot is 1.9 hectares. The area of the building is 21,639.14 m2.
The project documents are currently being prepared. It is anticipated that the facility will be operational in the third quarter of 2023.
