The readiness of the Eastern Exit in Ufa is 85%

The readiness of the Eastern exit from Ufa is 85 percent. Now engineering communications are being laid in the tunnel, builders are laying asphalt pavement on the bridge part.

The general contractor for the implementation of the Eastern Exit project from Ufa to the Federal Highway M-5 Ural in Bashkiria is LLC LMA, part of the LMS Group of Companies.

The project of construction of the regional use highway of the Republic of Bashkortostan «New exit from Ufa to the federal highway M-5 Ural – Eastern Exit» includes three large-scale stages:

• A road tunnel that includes two tunnels 1.2 km long, with two lanes in each. The width of the road will be 8.5 m x 2.
• A steel bridge over the Ufa River with a length of 470 m and an overpass with a length of 2,200 m, with two two-lane platforms. The width of the roadway will be 27.7 m.
• The highway is 12 km long with four lanes. The category of the road is IB (express). The width of the road is 26 m .

Now the builders have begun the final work — engineering communications are being laid in the tunnel, and asphalt pavement is being laid on the bridge part.

The new road, which will connect the center of Ufa with Zaufimye, will create prospects for the development of a new district. By the way, the autotunnel is the first stone corridor in Ufa, which was built in a closed way.

During the construction of the Eastern Exit, over 800 beams were needed. For their production, a beam factory worked on site.

When designing a bridge crossing over the Ufa River, the peculiarities of navigation in this area were taken into account. Thus, the dimensions of the spans intended for the passage of vessels were maintained at the level of 126 meters.

It plans to hand over the largest infrastructure facility in the Volga Federal District at the end of this year. Traffic on the interchange will start after the installation of lighting and railing.
