The pit excavation for the new Voronezh airport terminal has been completed

Timelapse video shows the dynamics of construction of the Voronezh airport terminal during the period from April 1 to April 22, 2022.

The construction of the new air terminal complex of domestic airlines of the Peter the Great Voronezh International Airport continues. The specialists of the LMS Group, the general contractor, have completed the pit excavation. The excavation volume amounted to 14,500 m³.

At the moment the backfill is carried out with layer-by-layer compaction of the excavation slots. The volume of work performed - 11,000 m³. The site is concreting the walls of the stairwells and elevator shafts of the future building. More than 1,200 m³ of concrete has already been placed and 122 tons of reinforcement bars of various diameters have been used. Next week the installation of the Larsen sheet piling is scheduled to begin.

One hundred specialists from the general contractor, including engineering personnel, are working on the project.

This is the fourth project implemented by «LMS» Group of Companies for the customer «Novaport». Previously within the framework of similar cooperation were built: an airport terminal in Chelyabinsk, airport terminal complexes in Volgograd and Kemerovo.
