At the international airport named after A. A. Leonov in Kemerovo, two telescopic ladders are installed

As noted by the Deputy Governor for Industry, Transport and Ecology Andrey Panov, who visited the airport under construction the day before: «On behalf of the Governor of Kuzbass, the construction of a new terminal building is in full swing. Teletraps were installed today. By the end of May this year, it is planned to complete the work and put the new building into operation.» The deputy governor wrote about this on his page on the social network.

Recall that the length of the telescopic ladders, which will allow for the landing and disembarkation of airport passengers without access to the runways, is 25 meters, the width is 3.8 meters, and the weight of one of the heaviest parts is 28 tons.

- The construction, in addition to the teletrap itself, includes two transition galleries and a rotunda, - comments Ilhan Musa Ozkoc, the project manager for the construction of the airport terminal in Kemerovo. - After two days of preparatory work, the telescopic ladders were assembled: the first-on the 8th and the second on the 9th of March.

The LMS Group of Companies continues construction of the building of the new terminal complex of domestic airlines of the International Airport. For 9 months, the building was erected and work is currently underway on the interior decoration of the premises.

The number of engineering and working personnel at the construction site is 610 people.

Recall that the new terminal is planned to be put into operation in the spring of 2021 and timed to coincide with the celebration of the 300th anniversary of Kuzbass.
