«Arena-Omsk» construction is implemented according to the schedule

In June 2020 works for construction of multifunctional sport complex «Arena» started in Omsk. The project will be commissioned in 2022. New sportcomplex will become one of the sites for keeping Junior hockey champion cup which will take place in December 2022- January 2023.

On June, 11th Arena- Engineering LLC and LMS LLC signed the general contraction contract for «Arena Omsk» complex located in 35, Lukashevich str. The contract for project management and procurement (systems and equipment delivery and installation) was signed as well.

The works at the sute have already started and will finish in September 2022/

At present pit excavation works are coming to their final stage for further formation of building foundation, phase-byphase piling is performed, piles are being tested and construction camp arrangement is also in process.

In the words of LMS LLC Strategy development Director Mr. Selchuk Karadzha at the moment more than 220 company specialists are involved in construction works being performed in accordance with all sanitary requirements. «All works are being executed ahead of schedule. Within 18- 25 of July 174 piles were driven, though just 150 items were planned. 24 538.8 m3 of pit is excavated for piling field. Foundation bed is now being prepared with gravel and sand dumping. Pipleline hydraulic tests are now done together with relaying of existing networks and temporary infrastructure«Selcuk Karadzha mentioned.

At the beginning of July Omsk governor Mr. Alexander Burkov and HC «Avanngard» Board Chairman Mr. Alexander Krylov vitited construction site where they ran up the hockey club flag as symbol of native team new home.

«This is the most cutting edge project which contains all the best from sport facilities all over the world. It will be a cultural zone to be used at the time free from hockey matches. Here is the collaborative of Gazprom Neft company, regional government and Omsk city administration, and of course, of hockey club «Avangard». The whole workload has been arranged as a team work» Alexander Burkov remarked.
