Radiy Khabirov inspected the construction of the Eastern Exit from Ufa

On March 17, a Head of Bashkortostan Radiy Khabirov inspected the construction site of the large-scale project the Eastern Exit to the federal highway M-5 Ural. The head of the region was accompanied by Nakhit Chetin, a head of the Eastern Exit project, and Asabali Zakavov, a general director of the Bashkir Concession Company LLC. LMA LLC, a member of LMS Group of Companies, is the general contractor for the construction.

»Now the facility is 38% ready. The builders have completed the first stage of thrusting of the bridge span structure, tunneling works in the Southern and Northern road tunnels and many other things are in progress — everything is on schedule. We are not slowing down, although there are objective preconditions for this,» commented Radiy Khabirov after his visit.

2 489 specialists of the general contractor are engaged at the site, including engineering manpower. 357 units of equipment are involved in the construction.

The implementation of the project for the construction of a regional highway of the Republic of Bashkortostan New exit from Ufa to the federal highway M-5 Ural – Eastern Exit includes three large-scale stages. The first stage is a road tunnel, which includes two tunnels 1.2 km long, each with two lanes. The width of the road will be 8.5 m x 2.

At the moment, the construction cost of the facility is estimated at 33.5 billion rubles. Of these, the federal budget funds amount to 19.9 billion rubles, the budget of Bashkortostan — 4.5 billion rubles and 9 billion non-budgetary sources.
