Progress of construction of the new airport in Tyumen in August

The general contractor LMS Group of Companies demonstrates the dynamics of the phased reconstruction of the existing terminal complex of international/domestic air lines of Tyumen International Airport (Roshchino).

The governor of the Tyumen region Alexander Moore, visiting the site, noted that the construction is going briskly: «Every time I come, something new appears. It will be necessary not just to add another building next to it, but also to carry out a major reconstruction of the existing airport terminal without stopping.» The appearance of the air harbor will change completely. The reconstruction will increase the throughput capacity of Airport Roshchino three times.

At the moment, the following works are being carried out at the facility:

• 28,000 m³ of soil has been developed, which is 98% of the total volume
• The device of free-standing foundations is 99% complete%
• The foundation of the basement is fully completed
• Vertical structures of the basement are 99% complete%
• The installation of the floor slab at the level of -0.150 is performed at 94%
• The device of the vertical structure above the -0.150 mark is made by 53%
• Laid concrete mix in the volume of 5,456 m³, which is 52% of the total volume
• Backfilling is performed on 65%
• The brickwork in the basement is completely completed
• The installation of the floor slab at the level of +4,650 is completed by 21%.

253 specialists, including IT specialists, are involved at the site.
