The general contractor, LMS Group of Companies is completing the construction of one of the most ambitious projects in Yamal — Novy Urengoy Airport.
The second testing of the air terminal took place yesterday. Volunteers, students and journalists acted as passengers of the air hub and went all the way to departure – from the entrance inspection to the boarding gate. And on arrival – from the entrance to the terminal upon arrival and to the exit to the station square.
In total, about 300 people took part in two comprehensive tests (December 6 and 13) of the new passenger terminal.
All the equipment has already been put into commissioning and is now being tested under load in conditions that simulate real daily production processes. The test tests are the final stage before the launch of the airport. Its task is to identify possible shortcomings and eliminate them before launching the terminal. After testing, the final debugging of technological and production processes will be carried out to ensure convenient, high-quality and safe passenger service in the new terminal. The launch of the terminal is scheduled for the end of this year.
