The VII National Exhibition of Civil Aviation Infrastructure «NAIS«was held in Moscow's Crocus Expo. Professionals were able to evaluate projects for the development of airfields and terminals from Russian airports.

One of the largest exhibitors - the Airports of Regions Management Company-is leading a project of large-scale reconstruction of the Novy Airport Urengoy within the framework of the concession agreement concluded with the Government of the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous District.

The general contractor for the construction of the largest air hub in Yamal is the LMS consortium.

The new passenger terminal with an area of 18 thousand square meters will be equipped with three telescopic ladders and 12 check-in counters. Its capacity will be 840 passes. per hour and 1.45 million passengers per year.

The team of LMS specialists has already completed the development of the pit. The next stage - the construction of a pile foundation, preparatory work on which is already underway - in the climatic conditions of the Far North has a number of features. LMS specialists constantly interact with Moscow design institutes, conducting routine testing of concrete piles.

- At temperatures below 25 degrees Celsius, we pay special attention to the smooth operation of construction equipment: drilling and drilling rigs, which are actively involved now. And, of course, we provide specialists at the facility with rooms for heating, « - explains Pavel Kryukov, planning engineer at LMS.

The work is being carried out in accordance with the approved deadlines. Recall that the deadline for the completion of the object is the 4th quarter of 2022.
