LMS installed the baggage handling system at Novy Urengoy Airport Terminal
In the passenger terminal of Novy Urengoy Airport the general contractor LMS Group completed installation of the luggage handling system equipment.
This conveyor system will transport checked luggage of passengers from check-in desks to kitting carousels, a place where bags will be loaded into carts for further loading onto the aircraft. The peculiarity of the luggage handling system is that it consists of two levels of conveyor belts, two baggage carousels and a separate baggage carousel. Each line is equipped with an introscope. The system is equipped with a technological elevator for lifting rejected (containing items prohibited for carriage) luggage.
Two carousels of reclaimed luggage have also been installed to dispense passengers' baggage.
At the moment LMS specialists are carrying out commissioning works.
