Projects of LMS: Volgograd International Airport
Limak Marash Group of Companies successfully implements the construction of air harbors and airport infrastructure in Russia. In the traditional Projects of LMS section, we are talking about the implementation of the terminal complex of international and domestic air lines of Volgograd International Airport.
Project Characteristics:
- The customer is Volgograd International Airport, LLC
- The technical customer is Meridian Development
- The general contractor is Limakmarashstroy, LLC
- Construction period: March 2017 – May 2018
Airport Infrastructure:
- New terminal B
- Terminal gross area is 9,200 m²
- Capacity is up to 720 people
- B and C terminal connection
Airfield Infrastructure:
- Runway is 2,800*45 m
- Terminal B is equipped with teletraps
Limak Marash Group of Companies completed the construction of the airport in May 2018. As a result, a new transport hub appeared with a runway, terminals of domestic and international air lines, a cargo complex, hotels, parking lots, office and administrative buildings.
The construction of the terminal complex of international and domestic air lines of Volgograd International Airport was implemented as part of the Preparation Program for the 2018 FIFA World Cup in the Russian Federation.
