Projects of LMS: Kemerovo International Airport

We continue to tell about the types of construction, which are carried out by the LMS Group. In today's column Projects of LMS - the implementation of a New Airport Terminal Complex of Kemerovo International Airport n. a. Leonov.

The customer of the project is International Airport Kemerovo them. A.A. Leonov LLC, Technical Customer is Spectrum-Holding Ltd.

Project characteristics:

• Construction area of the terminal - 11 635 m².
• Building area with the landscaping - 50 000 m².
• Terminal capacity - 460 people.
• Terminal capacity - 273 000.
• Parking for 200 cars.
• Project implementation period: May 2020 - May 2021.

LMS Group was the general contractor of the new terminal complex of Kemerovo International Airport which includes terminal building, main approaches to the terminal and several parking lots for 200 cars for short-term and long-term storage.

Under the general contract the design and construction works were performed on a turnkey basis including the whole scope of electromechanical works. The new terminal was built in 12 months and will be commissioned in May 2021. But due to the difficulties of the pandemic period and sub-zero temperatures, the terminal was actually built in 8 months of efficient operation.

On May 23 the grand opening of the new air terminal complex took place, timed to coincide with the celebration of the 300th anniversary of Kuzbass.
