In our traditional 'LMS in faces' section we talked with Erman Erakman, the project manager for the development of the fifth block of Ostrov Residential Complex in Moscow.
Tell us what you do in LMS, your area of activity, functions, position
I am the project manager of the fifth block of Ostrov Residential Complex in Moscow. My responsibilities include organization of all works related to construction, from preparation of working documentation to implementation of conceived design solutions at the site in accordance with the customer's requirements.
This is a responsible and interesting work. My main goal is to finish and hand over the object in terms of deadlines and approved budget. We have assembled a team of experienced and hardworking engineers and builders.
How did your career in the construction industry begin?
I graduated from Erciyes University as a mechanical engineer.
I started my professional activity in Ankara (Turkey). I participated in the construction of residential complexes in Soyak Insaat. After graduation I was invited to work as a civil engineer at the Antares shopping center.
Tell us about your experience in previous projects?
I must honestly say that while working in the above-mentioned positions, I gained invaluable experience. In accordance with the schedule of construction works, I was involved in controlling the supply of design materials, as well as the production of construction and installation works, in strict compliance with all applicable construction standards and regulations.
Why are the processes in your business unique?
The uniqueness of the project manager's activity lies in the principle of achieving close and fruitful communicative relationships between people. When interacting with my team on the project, I try to support my colleagues both in their work and in their personal lives by giving them all kinds of support.
It is important for me to create a hard-working, responsive, stress-resistant and motivated team of specialists, ready to work and give 100%.
What prospects does LMS have, in your opinion?
The geography of LMS Group's projects covers the whole territory of Russia. We have successfully completed and continue to build facilities of varying complexity from Kaliningrad to Khabarovsk. We contribute to the development of the country's economy by implementing important infrastructure projects such as air harbors, industrial facilities, shopping centers, residential complexes, as well as cultural and sports facilities.
