Dynamics of construction of a new Airport Mineralnye Vody in December
The general contractor, LMS Group of Companies, is rapidly building a new airport terminal complex for domestic air lines at Mineralnye Vody International Airport.
The builders have fully completed the preparatory work: the excavation for the AVK terminal building has been completed by 100%, and excavation has been carried out by 90% in the bomb shelter building.
Reinforced concrete works have been completed below the zero mark of the AVK terminal. Work is underway on the reinforcement and concreting of vertical structures, monolithic floor slabs on the 2nd and 3rd floor. 2,500 tons of rebar and 9,900 m3 of concrete were used.
To date, monolithic works have been completed by 51%. Work is being carried out on the external waterproofing of vertical structures below the zero mark. Work has begun on masonry of brick and aerated concrete partitions inside the AVK and in the building of the bomb shelter. Excavation works and reinforced concrete works of auxiliary buildings such as fire tanks, pumping station, modular boiler house, etc. have been completed.
Work is also continuing on the development of trenches, concreting trays, floor slabs for conducting heat supply pipes.
The work on trench development, pipe laying and backfilling has been completed by 90%. Work is underway on laying pipes using the HDD method in certain sections of the construction site.
There are 678 people involved at the facility, including engineers. 37 units of special equipment are also involved, including 2 tower cranes.
