Project information

International Airport “Platov” is the largest infrastructure project in Rostov-on-Don, the first airport in Russia constructed from scratch. “Platov” is located at Aksayskiy district, 29 km northeastwards from Rostov-on-Don.

The new airport was established in Rostov-on-Don, which is one of the cities where the 2018 World Football Cup will be organized. All characteristics of the airport fully meet the requirements of FIFA and give the opportunity for good quality service of guests, arriving to the World Cup matches.
