Dynamics of the construction of a new Voronezh Airport in May

The LMS Group of Companies, the General contractor, is completing the construction of a new airport terminal complex for domestic air lines at Voronezh Peter I International Airport.

The builders installed revolving doors at the entrance to and exit from the terminal building. At any position of the door, direct interaction of the room with the street is excluded: the formation of drafts and the ingress of noise, wind, water and debris into the building is excluded. These doors also ensure the safety of movement without the risk of human collisions. In addition, in an emergency, their design allows you to fold the sashes and form a wide passage.

A new parking lot has been paved on the territory adjacent to the new terminal building. Workers began preparations in the fall (they removed a layer of earth, laid a geo-field, tamped down layers of sand and crushed stone) in order to lay the coating efficiently and in accordance with technology in the spring. Compliance with GOST standards ensures high quality and long service life of the coating.

The parking lot surface consists of two layers: the first is porous coarse-grained asphalt concrete, the second is fine–grained. This combination provides resistance to loads and weakly wears out even with constant high operation, has a service life of up to 12 years.
